About Workshop

The IEEE PerCom International workshop on Pervasive Health Technologies (PerHealth 2021) is a cross-disciplinary workshop that brings researchers from engineering, computer science, and medicine together to discuss latest findings in this area and advance the field. Pervasive health research spans a broad spectrum and health-focused technologies ranging from mobile health and health information technology to medical devices, telemedicine, and personalized healthcare. The interactive workshop will be inspiring for anyone conducting research in the area of pervasive health and related fields. This includes research in technology design and development as well as clinical studies and novel application areas. The aim is to provide a forum where hardware, software, and middleware technologies, as well as data privacy and security issues are discussed that relate to aging in place, geriatrics, chronic disease management, health management, or that could help people with disabilities. Following recent trends, the 2021 workshop will further expand its reach into AI technologies, smart health communities, and Dementia and Cognitive decline. Moreover, it will seek work in data security and privacy as well as fairness and bias in pervasive health care.


PerHealth 2021 is a virtual-only workshop.

PerHealth 2021 will take place from 2:00pm to 8:00pm CET on Monday March 22nd, 2021.
